Densifier for lime-based stucco products
Composition
Densifier is composed by a special hardener alkali polymer and other additives in an homogeneous blend.
Packaging
- Available in packages of three 50 g jars
Storage
The product maintains its properties for a period of 24 months if protected from excessive heat and cold. The storage temperature must be included between +5°C and +30°C. Protect from frost.
Safety Guidelines
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. For more information consult the safety sheet.
The product must be disposed in agreement with
current regulations. Empty containers have to be
sent to recycling plants.
Where to use
It is used in lime-based products, and is suitable to rapidly restore / increase the viscosity of all lime-based products.
Why to use
This product is normally used when the plaster has become too liquid because of excessive use of the colorant.
How to use
The product should be slowly poured into the bucket while mixing the material with the beater. Once all the densifier has been added, continue to mix for another minute, then let it rest for a half an hour.
Normally a 50 gram jar is enough to thicken one 24 kg bucket of stucco marmorino. But if necessary, you can add up to 3 jars of densifier.
In any case, remember that all lime-based products tends to thicken over time, so keep this in mind if the plaster will applied several hours after mixing.
