Correct Color Mixing of Marmorino.

General Rules for Correct Color Mixing

To obtain a finish corresponding exactly to the color system in the color catalogue, put the indicated quantity of pigments with that system number into the bucket of stucco.

For a good result of the colored final product, the mixing is an essential part of the color additives. Consequently it’s necessary to observe the following steps: The basic white stucco marmorino product is very dense, so before adding color, it’s necessary to mix it with a rotor drill or mixing machine, to reduce its viscosity. Pour gradually all the color additive in the bucket and continue to mix until a homogeneous blend is achieved.

If a mixing machine is used, it’s necessary to create a hole inside the paste and pour in the color, then cover the hole with the paste and proceed to mix.

  1. Put the mixer in the tub and mix for about 1 minute.
  2. Add the color dye.
  3. Mix again for 2–3 minutes. Cover the bucket and let it rest for about 12 hours before applying.
