Faux Venetian Marble Plaster

Marmorino, like all limebased plasters, can be painted ‘a fresco’. Since it has a very smooth surface, the technique for painting ‘a fresco’ is specialized.

In the past, imitation marble was commonly used to finish bathrooms, drawing room ceilings, stairways, and external wainscoting.

Today, it still used to finish columns and for special decorative work. It is suitable for internal or external surfaces.
